Product Business Analyst

Summary

Join MeridianLink as a Product Business Analyst to author product requirements for mortgage products, acting as a subject matter expert on customer needs. Guide R&D teams to build effective market solutions, collect and analyze data for business expansion, and define root causes of business problems. You will elicit, generate, and refine product requirements, document them in software development lifecycle artifacts, and contribute to testing. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant professional experience (or equivalent work experience)
• Be able to work on problems of a moderate scope which are often varied and routine where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
• Be able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
• Ability to apply learned techniques and contributes to analysis and investigation to solve problems
• Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships to resolve mutual problems by collaborating on procedures or transactions

Responsibilities

• Define the root causes of business problems with general guidance
• Elicit, generate, and refine product requirements for new and existing system functionality
• Document requirements in software development lifecycle artifacts
• Contribute to the preparation and review of test procedures and reports
• Test out the business processes and recommend relevant improvements
• Provide support as a project team member as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Scrum framework
• Mortgage industry experience
