Summary
Join the African Leadership University (ALU) as a Product Coach and support the Digital Ambassador Program in Togo, a government initiative focused on accelerating the digitization of public services. You will work alongside the Product Management Faculty to provide hands-on coaching, mentorship, and practical guidance to Digital Ambassadors. Responsibilities include conducting monthly small-group coaching sessions, supporting Ambassadors in applying product management frameworks, offering real-time problem-solving, and hosting optional office hour sessions. Collaboration with the Product Management Faculty is key to aligning coaching content with training objectives and identifying common challenges. This remote position requires two in-person training workshops in Togo.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally in civic tech, digital government, fintech, SaaS, or public service innovation
- Experience in mentoring, coaching, or training product teams
- Ability to provide structured feedback and guide product development in resource-constrained environments
- Fluency in BOTH English and French
Responsibilities
- Provide monthly small-group coaching sessions
- Support Ambassadors in applying product management frameworks to their government projects
- Offer real-time problem-solving, feedback, and strategies for overcoming challenges in digital transformation
- Host optional office hour sessions each month where Ambassadors can seek guidance on various product management issues
- Help Ambassadors refine their approach to launching and iterating digital services
- Work closely with the Product Management Faculty to align coaching content with training objectives
- Identify common challenges across Ambassadors and provide insights to improve the training experience
