Requirements

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
  • Experience working with ETL processes and integrating data from multiple sources
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • 2+ years in a data analytics or product analytics role, preferably in a SaaS or B2B technology company
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to track feature adoption, identify pain points, and measure the success of new product launches
  • Partnering with Customer Success and Sales teams to analyze customer feedback and identify trends that impact user engagement and retention
  • Automating data extraction and transformation processes to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Managing and optimizing data pipelines between different sources, ensuring seamless data flow and integration across platforms
  • Working on backend data processes to improve data accessibility and usability for cross-functional teams
  • Ensuring data quality and governance by implementing best practices in data management
  • Analyzing and interpreting product usage data to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to monitor product performance and key business metrics
  • Working with large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across multiple sources
  • Building data models and queries to support ad hoc and recurring analyses

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Python, R, or other scripting languages for data analysis
  • Experience with tools in our data stack: Tableau, Amazon Redshift, Pendo, Salesforce, Marketo
  • Experience working with API integrations and backend data processes
  • Background in EdTech or experience demonstrating efficacy of educational products
