📍Remote - India

Summary

Join Koru, a company at the intersection of product, UX, and front-end development, as a Product Manager. You will act as a consultant, working with clients' product teams (founders, VPs, product owners, and engineering leads) to align design and development sprints with their roadmaps. Responsibilities include translating ideas into structured backlogs and MVPs, shaping user journeys, leading agile ceremonies, and coordinating cross-functional teams. You will need 4–7 years of experience in product/project management in a services or digital consulting environment, proven success managing UX and front-end development teams, deep familiarity with agile practices, and excellent communication skills. Bonus points for experience in regulated industries or with AI-powered products. Koru offers a flexible and remote work environment.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in product/project management in a services or digital consulting environment
  • Proven success managing UX and front-end development teams, especially for enterprise-grade web applications
  • Deep familiarity with agile delivery practices — beyond rituals, you understand intent
  • Excellent communication — you can hold your own in a room full of engineers, designers, and C-level execs
  • A mindset of ownership without ego — you lead with context, care, and clarity

Responsibilities

  • Be the connective tissue between our teams and client product orgs — founders, VPs, product owners, and engineering leads
  • Understand their roadmap, their priorities, their risks — and align our design and dev sprints to match their tempo
  • Run regular check-ins, demos, and planning calls that add value, not overhead
  • Translate fuzzy ideas into structured backlogs, lean MVPs, and measurable milestones
  • Shape user journeys and flows alongside our UX leads
  • Align product decisions to user needs and product strategy, not just internal pressures or deadlines
  • Lead agile ceremonies — sprint planning, demos, retros, backlog grooming — with energy and intent
  • Use tools like Jira, Notion, or Basecamp to bring alignment and clarity to team and stakeholders
  • Track velocity, unblock teams, and make data-informed decisions to course-correct
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams — UX designers, front-end engineers, QA, and client-side product folks — to ensure consistent progress
  • Balance pace and quality, while keeping team morale and client trust intact
  • Maintain transparency in effort, timelines, budgets, and team utilization
  • Drive documentation — from timelines to functional specs — that’s useful, not perfunctory
  • Proactively flag risks and help clients plan realistically, not reactively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, logistics, insurance, or other regulated industries
  • Exposure to AI-powered product workflows or integrating AI features into B2B products
  • A natural builder of process hygiene and team rhythm

Benefits

Flexible and remote. Work from anywhere, but be present where it counts
