Product Design Lead

Requirements

• Track record of delivering results in a fast-moving, startup or growth phase environment
• 5+ years experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer
• Experience managing design systems or working closely with design system owners
• Strong relationship building skills; experience managing stakeholders and cross-functional partners
• Ability to communicate effectively with different functional groups: engineers, scientists, stakeholders, and senior business leaders

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overarching UI/UX of the product, while going deep on certain projects
• Manage, role model, and mentor a team of IC Designers
• Create and uphold design best practices, and manage complex, cross-functional projects
• Drive vision for product language and content across our platform
• Prioritize effectively, use data to inform your decisions, weigh the impact and tradeoffs of decisions, and seek input where needed to drive alignment on conflicting priorities
• Turn complex solutions into elegant user experiences
