Product Designer

Summary

Foodsmart is seeking a Mid-Level UX Designer to support the Lead UX Designer in creating intuitive digital products for their platform. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience, strong visual design skills, and proficiency in using design software like Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, or other tools.

Requirements

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
• Comfortable using quantitative data and qualitative feedback to inform your design decisions
• Skilled at combining creativity and analysis to propose solutions and identify edge cases
• Experienced in using UX design best practices to design solutions and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
• Strong visual design skills with good understanding of user-system interaction

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead UX Designer to understand project requirements and objectives
• Translate concepts into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
• Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and inform design decisions
• Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design concepts
• Assist in maintaining and expanding the design systems and style guides
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders
• Work closely with developers to ensure design specifications are implemented accurately
• Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights

• Excited to explore the world of food and healthcare while working with your team to chart a simple path for our users through it
