Product Designer

Summary

The job is for a Product Designer at Syndr, a decentralized exchange offering derivative trading services. The role involves designing user experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting user research, creating marketing materials, establishing design systems, testing designs, and staying updated with the latest design trends in the blockchain and derivatives industry.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of UX, UI, or product design experience
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like InVision or Framer
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout design
• Experience in user research and testing methodologies
• Excellent communication and organizational skills in English
• Bachelor's degree in a related design major or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, visually appealing, and high-performing experiences for users across web and mobile trading platforms
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, traders, quants, and fellow designers to conceptualize and implement design solutions
• Conduct user research and analysis to gain insights into user needs and behaviors, informing design decisions
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs ensuring consistency and a cohesive visual language
• Create marketing materials for growth campaigns and blog posts
• Establish and maintain design systems and style guides for consistency across all design outputs
• Test and iterate on designs based on user feedback and data analysis
• Coordinate with external contract design resources as needed
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies in the blockchain and derivatives industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for DeFi, blockchain, or crypto-related projects
• Interest or experience in FinTech
• Knowledge of NodeJs, ReactJS, HTML/CSS, and front-end development
• Trading experience in traditional markets or crypto, familiarity with derivative products
