Product Designer

Summary

Join Oportun, a mission-driven fintech company, as a Product Designer. Requirements

• 3 to 4 years of relevant product design experience
• Experience working on consumer facing desktop and mobile products
• In-depth knowledge of Figma
• An excellent online portfolio
• Genuine passion for product design, tons of humility, openness to feedback and eagerness to get better, along with very good communication skills
• Working knowledge of using design systems
• A decent understanding of product and business goals, and knowledge to use them to inform decision making
• Some exposure to using data to make informed decisions
• Ability to question the status-quo
• Good craft and attention to detail
• Good fundamentals
• Good breadth of thinking

• Partner with various stakeholders to build clarity around the problem space

• Own the solution space from problem understanding to visual design, and ship good quality work
