Summary
Join Pleo's Partnerships domain as a Product Designer and help redefine how people work. You'll focus on designing tools and interfaces for a team ecosystem, empowering partners and internal teams to solve customer challenges through product integrations. Additionally, you'll collaborate with domain leadership to enhance design maturity, advocating for customer-centric processes and aligning design with business goals. This role offers a blend of hands-on design work and strategic collaboration, emphasizing automation and self-service design principles. The position is available in Denmark, Spain, and Portugal, with both office-based and fully remote options. Requirements
- Research complex problem areas in a technical space to help the team deeply understand the needs of technical users
- Ideate, prototype, and validate to refine and improve concepts
- Demonstrate confidence in designing complex interaction flows
- Possess systems thinking and experience working with design systems
- Balance industry best practices with innovation to create user-friendly solutions
- Showcase strong visual design capabilities
- Define a target state and break down work into logical milestones
- Closely collaborate with engineers to bring designs to life
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both within the team and externally
- Prioritize effectively, maintaining both quality and organization
Responsibilities
- Design efficient and effective tools and interfaces that enable Pleo teams to develop great external APIs
- Design efficient and effective tools and interfaces that enable partners and customers to leverage these APIs to build robust integrations with Pleo
- Design efficient and effective tools and interfaces that enable customers to seamlessly use these integrations, reducing friction when using Pleo alongside other products and services
- Collaborate with the Domain leadership and Engineering Leads to increase design maturity across the domain
- Bring a design perspective to commercial targets
- Advocate for customer-centric processes
- Champion usability - ensuring that great design directly supports Pleo’s business goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience working on B2B platforms, marketplaces, or developer platforms
- Have helped increase a team’s design maturity through patience, empathy, and passion
- Care about measuring the impact of design decisions using data
- Have strong opinions about design processes, tools, and systems
- Enjoy collaborating with engineers to push creative boundaries (in a productive way!)
- Be active in the design community and contribute to discussions
- Have a knack for interface copywriting
