Product Designer III

Summary

Join 6sense as a Product Designer III and collaborate with a team of Product Managers, UX Researchers, UX Writers, and other Product Designers to create innovative user interactions. You will play a key role in shaping the future of B2B marketing in the AI era. Guide product development through all phases, from research to maintenance. Build wireframes and prototypes, create documentation, and present design concepts to various audiences. Lead cross-functional activities, ensure design consistency, and track success metrics. Your expertise will drive impactful user experiences and product innovation at 6sense.

Requirements

• Provide a portfolio that shows experience working as a Product Designer on a complex B2B product with a proven ability to guide teams through intricate design challenges
• Demonstrate expertise in collaborating with UX Researchers to gain insights and turn findings into actionable design solutions
• Show a strong understanding of usability, UI design, and how to use and help build an enterprise design system
• Provide evidence of how you use data and storytelling to influence product decisions

Responsibilities

• Guide a product development team through all solution-design phases, including research and discovery, problem definition, design ideation, prototyping, design system alignment, validation, and ongoing maintenance
• Build wireframes (low- and high-fidelity) and clickthrough prototypes in Figma to clearly communicate workflows
• Proactively create clear, concise documentation that articulates design rationale to multi-disciplinary internal audiences
• Take responsibility for scoping design work, communicating what is possible to help define the project timeline, and monitoring status
• Clearly and confidently present design concepts and rationale to diverse audiences, including team members, stakeholders, and senior management
• Lead cross-functional activities that accelerate the design process through collaborative ideation, rapid prototyping, and effective problem solving
• Help drive design consistency with similar features and patterns across the product portfolio
• Identify and track success metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of designs
• Produce strategic assets that are required during problem discovery/definition and design ideation to lead the team to cohesive designs
• Promote the adoption and evolution of the design system at the product level to maintain consistency and scalability
• Recognize when user research is needed, coordinate UXR efforts with cross-functional partners, and conduct research with guidance

• Ensure cross-functional alignment at each step of the design process and lead the team toward excellence in UX execution
• Put user needs at the forefront, designing solutions that address real user problems while aligning with business goals
• Integrate modern design principles to create intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and functional products
• Always start with the ideal state, but also understand possible tradeoffs versus must-haves
• Deconstruct complex issues to uncover simple, thoughtful solutions
• Act as a strong advocate for UX, ensuring validated user problems are prioritized and reflected in the product roadmap
• Skillfully document a project plan and set clear milestones for each step of the design process
• Provide constructive and actionable feedback on colleagues’ work to enhance UX outcomes
• Have familiarity with established interaction patterns throughout the product portfolio and design new interactions with these existing patterns in mind
• Avoid clutter and create designs that are as visually simple as the interaction will allow
• Expertly use the design system and help others to use it effectively, too
• Follow design system guidelines to create accessible screen designs
