Remote Product Insights Analyst II

Summary

Join HashiCorp's Portfolio Strategy team as a Senior Product Insights Analyst and drive insights to improve growth and adoption of our secure products. As a key member of the R&D organization, you will connect product development to business outcomes and contribute to strategic direction.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management, management consulting, product analytics, or other relevant experience, specifically within the cybersecurity or identity management space
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity software business models
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop frameworks for novel problems
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and provide actionable insights
• Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Snowflake, SQL, Python, etc.) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Sigma, etc.) or similar tools is required
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive analytics framework that provides real-time insights into the performance of our secure products
• Leverage insights from the analytics framework to collaborate closely with product managers, driving continuous improvements and strategic adjustments to the roadmaps for Vault, Boundary, and Radar
• Conduct thorough analyses of competitor security products, gathering intelligence that will inform our product strategy
• Collaborate with product marketing to develop and refine pricing and packaging strategies that drive customer adoption and market differentiation
• Collect, analyze, and synthesize customer feedback from various sources (e.g., surveys, support interactions, social media) to identify trends and pain points

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree in computer science, statistics, data science, or an MBA
• Expertise in designing and implementing telemetry systems to capture key data points
• Familiarity with open source ecosystems, particularly within the security space
• Exposure to both on-premise licensing models and migration strategies to cloud within the context of infrastructure products
