Summary
Join TouchBistro as a Product Install Technician and provide remote support to customers using our POS and Payments solutions. You will guide customers through hardware and network configuration, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with internal teams. Success in this role requires strong troubleshooting and networking skills, advanced Apple user proficiency, and excellent communication abilities. Requirements
- Be fluent in written and spoken English
- Have 2+ years of troubleshooting and networking experience
- Be an advanced Apple user (iPad, iPhone, iMac, MacMini)
- Possess a good understanding of restaurant operations
- Be highly adaptable and able to find solutions to complex problems as they arise in different situations, customizing your approach based on customer needs and resource availability
- Be able to articulate complex, technical information to a variety of audiences
Responsibilities
- Facilitate remote hardware installation appointments with customers, providing customized, step-by-step guidance and recommendations on how to configure their TouchBistro network and hardware within their venue
- Follow best-practices throughout installation appointments and testing, taking ownership of issues as they arise and working with cross-functional teams and partners to find solutions and recommended work-arounds to drive towards go-live and product usage
- Form strong partnerships with internal teams (Product, IT, Development, Sales, Support, and Professional Services) to help elevate the customer voice and experience
- Develop deep knowledge and understanding of the TouchBistro POS and hardware suite, acting as an expert and informing the ongoing evolution of our offerings
- Act as an ambassador for TouchBistro, demonstrating our core values throughout customer-facing interactions and promoting our products and services throughout on-site and remote engagements
- Lead our customers in the direction of success and continue to grow our customer advocates and the TouchBistro footprint
