Requirements

  • Able to demonstrate the characteristics of an experienced product manager (this is generally more than 4 years experience)
  • Comfortable being accountable for the success of a crucial piece of Zappi’s offering
  • Able to balance working for tactical gain with progressing towards a long term vision, with a bias for action
  • An exceptionally strong collaborator with other product managers and product teams, used to managing dependencies in order to deliver value
  • You are able to understand complex systems and subsystems, with a somewhat technical appreciation for data modelling
  • As comfortable coming into a project that’s already started as you are kicking off something brand new
  • Confident using data to inform leadership, context setting and decision making within your team
  • Happy letting others take the credit for great work in order to make the most of the diverse talent at Zappi
  • Passionate about great customer experience, making complex things simple, all while improving our users lives in the process

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand Zappi’s customer needs for managing multiple teams across global organisations, ensuring they can balance standardisation with specific needs
  • Work with product leadership to drive the product strategy forward, ensuring team outcomes support the goals of the organisation
  • Collaborate with engineering, product design and quality assurance to specify, design and build brilliant solutions to customer problems
  • Work with your engineering team to build an achievable roadmap, mapping out key cross-team dependencies and informing those impacted when timelines shift
  • Confidently manage team stakeholders, keeping them appraised of progress and involved in any decisions they can contribute to
  • Become extremely familiar with your product, able to demonstrate functionality and advocate for the benefits of new features
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to enable customers and the wider Zappi organisation in use of new features
  • Collaborate with the broader product engineering community to flag, investigate and manage dependencies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with large datasets is desirable, including: data cleaning, database management, data monetisation and exposing data via third-party APIs
  • Experience in creating or enhancing customer-facing analytic platforms, demonstrating the ability to design, implement, or support solutions that provide actionable insights and enhance user experience

Benefits

  • Salary range Β£60,000-75,000 per annum, depending on experience. Salaries are benchmarked annually
