You will collaborate extensively with US and Japan-based teams to define and execute a product roadmap that ensures adoption, compliance, and customer success. The ideal candidate possesses strong product intuition, platform/API experience, and a deep understanding of Japan's brokerage landscape. Requirements

• 3+ years of product management or related experience in a technology or financial services environment
• Strong product intuition and experience building platforms or APIs
• Business-level fluency in Japanese and English , both written and verbal
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as the voice of the Japanese customer — deeply understand and articulate local needs, pain points, and market opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the US and Japan to define and execute on the product roadmap for Alpaca’s Japan platform
• Translate product concepts into clear, detailed product specifications and work closely with engineering to drive execution
• Partner with the Japan BD entity to support client discovery, pre-sales technical discussions, and ongoing product feedback loops
• Own metrics related to platform adoption and usage in Japan and drive initiatives to improve client success and engagement
• Ensure products are developed in compliance with local regulations and market practices in Japan
