Product Manager

Summary

General Magic is seeking an experienced Product Manager with expertise in web3 and blockchain concepts to shape and manage digital products for crypto-philanthropic organizations. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, financial acumen, adaptability, empathy, and a flexible schedule. Requirements

• Experience in product management and related fields
• 5+ years of experience
• Strong familiarity with digital product management software tools, methodologies, and best practices (Agile methodologies are preferred)
• Excellent and up-to-date grasp of digital technologies, user experience design and research techniques

Responsibilities

• Monitor project budget spending and keep stakeholders updated on progress
• Work closely with colleagues in different teams (communication, development, design, marketing) to bridge product requirements and deliver excellent user experience
• Utilize a user-centric approach to discovery, using research to test assumptions and validate requirements
• Regularly review processes and evaluate results
• Define product vision based on business and user needs
• Develop project briefs, reports, and status updates - to share internally and externally
• Guarantee the success of our digital product and product line
• Create the roadmap to guide the trajectory of the product; from conception through design and into wide release
• Write specs, lead meetings, and backlog by making the Github issues clear and understandable for all stakeholders and working groups
• Own the backlog of the product and keep it up to date
