Product Manager

Summary

Join Instacart's Logistics Product team as a Group Product Manager and lead a team of Product Managers focused on enhancing service coverage, delivery times, order batching and routing, shopper matching, positioning, and pay. Develop and execute a roadmap and strategy to boost Instacart's long-term growth and profitability by improving fulfillment cost and speed. Build products and services that benefit all stakeholders in the marketplace, fostering a synergistic ecosystem. Maintain a portfolio of experiments, leveraging insights to drive value through iterative testing. This role requires 8+ years of product management experience, team management experience, strong marketplace or systems thinking, and excellent cross-functional communication skills. The role is remote, with base pay varying by location and eligibility for equity grants.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management or similar experience
• Team management experience (direct or indirect)-- developing others, giving tough feedback, creating operating norms and rituals
• Strong Marketplace or Systems thinking - ability to understand and multi sided marketplace interactions, work through long-term vs. short-term tradeoffs, heavily informed by data, first principles thinking as well as user research
• Strong XFN communication - helping a cross functional team and leadership understand problems and solutions in a complex domain

• Maintain an experimentation portfolio with a consistent cadence, leveraging insights to drive value through iterative testing

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a marketplace -oriented role, envisioning or evaluating algorithms based products and services
