Product Manager

Omnidian
Summary
Join Omnidian Australia as their Product Manager to refine and scale their successful solar servicing model. You will define and package service offerings that resonate with customers, generate leads, and are consistently deliverable. Collaborating with various teams, you will translate capabilities into marketable products, streamline proposals, and enable effective delivery through standardization. This role requires aligning market demand with internal capabilities, understanding both customer experience and operational realities. The position offers work-life flexibility, comprehensive compensation, growth opportunities, and an inclusive community. Omnidian is a fast-growing tech-enabled service company revolutionizing performance assurance for the distributed solar and energy storage industries.
Requirements
- You have a strong understanding of how to define, position, and price service offerings in a way that drives both customer value and business margin
- You bring a commercial mindset to product decisions and are comfortable navigating trade-offs between customer desirability, operational feasibility, and profitability
- You understand how work gets done — and can translate product definitions into clear, repeatable processes
- You’ve worked closely with operations teams before and can balance the needs of scale with flexibility
- You’re skilled at managing complex, cross-functional initiatives involving sales, marketing, operations, and legal
- You can influence without authority, align stakeholders around a clear plan, and keep things moving across multiple workstreams
- You’re a clear, concise communicator — in proposals, internal docs, and stakeholder updates
- You can distil complex ideas into digestible formats and ensure alignment across commercial, delivery, and legal teams
- You’re curious about customer needs and market dynamics — and know how to turn insights into better products
- You value evidence over assumption and use data, feedback, and patterns to guide decisions
- 5+ years in product, strategy, or operations roles — ideally in a B2B environment
- Proven experience defining and packaging service offerings
- Strong exposure to cross-functional collaboration across commercial and delivery teams
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and synthesis skills

- Work with Sales (President, Australia and VP Growth) to refine how offers are positioned, pitched, and evolved based on market feedback
- Partner with legal counsel to ensure service offerings are reflected accurately in contract terms and commercial agreements
- Translate product definitions into clear operational workflows — working with the operations team to define handoffs, SLAs, and delivery responsibilities
- Working with the software engineering team, identify where technology, automation, or documentation can drive efficiency and reduce bespoke effort
- Build feedback loops between delivery and product so we can evolve what we offer based on what works
- Product Design (50%) - defining products to meet the needs of the market
- Product Delivery (50%) - working across the team to prototype and deliver to meet client expectations
