Product Manager

Summary

Join a leading innovator in sustainable practices as their new Product Manager for their SaaS platform! This remote role focuses on corporate and product-based environmental accounting and sustainability strategy. You will develop and refine the product roadmap, collaborate with engineering and design teams, and engage with clients to gather feedback. The ideal candidate has proven experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS environment, a background in sustainability, and strong analytical and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include technical expertise in software development and hands-on experience with carbon accounting tools. Work hours are preferred within US Pacific to Eastern Time.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS environment, preferably within agile frameworks
• Background in sustainability, GHG accounting, or lifecycle assessment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and align cross-functional teams toward a common goal
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Environmental Science, or a related technical/scientific field, or demonstrated equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the SaaS product roadmap, emphasizing sustainability features, GHG reporting capabilities, and alignment with industry best practices
• Partner with engineering and design teams to ensure technical feasibility and deliver solutions that meet sustainability objectives
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather feedback, define user needs, and prioritize features to address emerging market demands
• Translate customer needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, and clear deliverables for development teams
• Establish and track KPIs to measure product success, adoption, and market impact

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical expertise in software development, with the ability to effectively communicate with engineering teams
• Hands-on experience with carbon accounting tools, lifecycle assessments, or sustainability reporting standards
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and trends in environmental sustainability and GHG management
