Product Manager

Summary

The job is for a Product Manager at Plivo, a cloud communications platform company. The role involves managing one of the products, engaging with customers and cross-functional teams, handling product backlog, working closely with engineering teams, defining and executing the product roadmap, developing and conducting product training programs, and taking ownership of key aspects such as product quality, development, P&L, and sustainability.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of overall experience, including 2 years of prior PM experience
• A software development background is required

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of one of Plivo’s products to define a long-term roadmap
• Engage with customers and cross-functional teams to design, deliver, and support the product
• Manage the product backlog and prioritise product stories in engineering sprints
• Work closely with engineering teams on new features and critical bugs
• Handle internal and external stakeholder management
• Define and execute the product roadmap
• Develop and conduct product training programs
• Address bugs, ensure uptime, stability, and manage the testing process (Product Quality)
• Focus on user experience, and work on new features and enhancements (Product Development)
• Oversee pricing, packaging, and margins (P&L)
• Enable Sales, Support, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success teams (Sustainability)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with REST APIs is a bonus
