Summary
Join Shift5, a leader in aviation cybersecurity, as a Product Manager to spearhead the development and growth of our Aircraft Network Security Program (ANSP) Compliance offering for commercial airlines. You will work directly with cybersecurity teams at leading commercial airlines and aircraft OEMs, gaining a deep understanding of their challenges and needs to drive product strategy. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product, you will significantly contribute to Shift5's mission of enhancing aviation safety and security. This role involves collaboration with engineers, designers, and go-to-market professionals to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager with a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products and/or other relevant experience in the aviation industry, management consulting, etc
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and highly collaborative environment
- US Citizen
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and growth of the Aircraft Network Security Program (ANSP) Compliance offering for commercial airlines
- Work directly with cybersecurity teams at leading commercial airlines and aircraft Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
- Gain a deep understanding of their unique challenges, regulatory pressures, and evolving security needs to drive product strategy and roadmap
- Contribute significantly to Shift5's mission of enhancing aviation safety and security
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and go-to-market professionals to bring cutting-edge solutions to the market
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building and launching products in emerging markets or within highly regulated industries
- Experience in the aviation industry (e.g., working at an airline, aircraft OEM, or within aviation regulatory bodies)
- Knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA) and industry standards
