Remote Product Manager

Summary

Join Stripe's Finance Systems team as a Product Lead and drive the development and long-term strategy for finance products and tools leveraging AI. You will shape product strategy, collaborate with various Stripe teams, ensure scalable development, and lead large cross-functional projects. This role requires extensive experience in product management, a strong understanding of AI/ML and financial processes, and proven leadership skills. You will be responsible for articulating the product vision, developing plans, and building delightful user experiences. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and collaborative skills and experience with AI-powered products within finance systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years focused on finance systems and AI-powered products
• Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application in financial processes such as automation, anomaly detection, forecasting, and intelligent reporting
• Experience working with engineering teams to build AI features; familiarity with AI/ML concepts, data pipelines, APIs, and cloud platforms
• Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams including finance, data science, engineering, and compliance
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience guiding product development from ideation through execution

Responsibilities

• Articulate the product vision, develop annual and quarterly plans to deliver these solutions to our users and make them successful
• Shape the direction and product strategy for solving needs of finance users
• Collaboratively partner with other Stripe teams (engineering, accounting, tax, compliance, etc.) to understand their pain-points and develop plans to build delightful and helpful user experiences
• Ensure we’re building in a scalable, performant way
• Drive large projects that span multiple engineering groups and across multiple functions (engineering, TPM, product, business). Work in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial systems (ERP, accounting platforms, budgeting tools) & finance processes (FP&A, treasury, audit)
• Familiarity with finance systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and AI/ML platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present AI-driven product solutions to stakeholders at all levels
