Product Manager

Summary

Join Stripe's Connect team as a Product Manager and devise strategy, develop product requirements, and oversee execution for high-impact initiatives serving modern marketplaces and software platforms. You will build innovative payments products, collaborating with engineering, design, analytics, and customer-facing teams. This role involves developing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for future investments, gathering feedback from Stripe's leadership, and meeting with customers and internal teams. You will partner with engineering and design to ship user-friendly functionality and work with user researchers to understand developer needs. The position requires strong product sense, leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Requirements

• 12+ years of Product Management experience
• Computer Science background or similar experience
• Strong product sense
• Able to lead products that require coordination of many teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Persistence and a whatever-it-takes approach to ensure that your product and team are successful
• Creative and curious product thinkers who can develop and grow a compelling vision for Stripe’s insights and analytics products

Responsibilities

• Develop the vision, strategy, and roadmap for future investments for one of Stripe’s core products and get feedback on your plans directly from Stripe’s leadership team
• Spend your time split between external meetings with customers and internal discussions with your engineering, marketing, analytics, and sales counterparts
• Partner with engineering and design to ship functionality that delights users, has the right balance of impact vs engineering cost, and makes a measurable impact
• Work closely with user researchers to test hypotheses and understand developer pain points
