Product Manager, Core Banking and Processing

Summary

Join OnePay, a consumer financial services app dedicated to helping people achieve financial progress, as a Product Manager on the Core Banking and Processing team. You will be responsible for building the financial infrastructure that powers all of OnePay's operations, from storing and moving money to facilitating payments and ensuring accurate accounting. This critical role at the foundation of the platform will directly impact OnePay's ability to scale securely and reliably. You will define and drive the roadmap for systems related to ledgering, balance management, core processing, core banking, and money movement, write detailed product specifications and requirements, lead initiatives across payment rails, partner with vendors to manage a roadmap for future capabilities, and collaborate with engineering, compliance, operations, and finance teams to design scalable and auditable systems.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Finance, Fintech or Payment domain
• Deep understanding of money movement, ledgers, and payment networks
• Strong collaboration and communication skills — you can work cross-functionally with engineers, compliance, and business teams to explain and deliver complex systems
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability; you sweat the edge cases
• Experience with transactional systems, reconciliation processes, and high-reliability product environments

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the roadmap for systems related to ledgering, balance management, core processing, core banking, and money movement
• Write clear, detailed product specs, requirements, and KPIs to guide implementation
• Lead initiatives across ACH, wire, and card payment rails, including integrations and rule logic
• Partner with critical vendors to jointly create and manage a roadmap  to support current and future OnePay capabilities, features and  products
• Collaborate closely with engineering, compliance, operations, and finance to design scalable and auditable systems
