Product Manager, Data and AI Infrastructure

Summary

Join Figma's growing team as a Product Manager for the infrastructure pillar, focusing on data and AI platforms. You will build and maintain a strong understanding of company-wide data needs, define a vision for core data systems, and partner with cross-functional teams. This full-time role can be based in a US hub or remotely within the US. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager, experience shipping high-quality software platforms, and a proven ability to perform customer research. Requirements

• Experience leading significant strategic initiatives on highly complex, ambiguous, and technical products
• 6+ years of experience as a full-time Product Manager
• Experience shipping high-quality software platforms that drove efficiency for users and business results for your company
• Experience performing customer research to understand your customers and uncover insights

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a strong understanding of the data needs across the company
• Define a vision for core data systems, such as Figma's data catalog, to enable key stakeholders across the company to easily understand and use data at scale to meet business needs and drive product improvements
• Partner with a wide range of cross-functional partners across engineering, data science, and product to design infrastructure to train, deploy, evaluate and serve AI/ML models at scale
• Partner with engineering to set strategy and priorities for teams and projects
• Ensure data platforms are performant, reliable, user-friendly and meet data security and privacy requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a software engineer / data scientist
• Experience building platforms in multi-product environments
