Summary

Join SevenRooms as a mission-driven Product Manager specializing in data products. You will build and maintain data-driven products, designing and supporting those that help operators and managers utilize data for improvement and growth. Collaborate with a 15-person product team, reporting to the Group Product Manager for Growth Products. The Data Products team focuses on data infrastructure, relationships, and enabling customer self-service reporting. You will leverage the SevenRooms platform to innovate, creating a complete user experience. This role requires strong analytical, collaborative, and customer-focused skills.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proficiency with analytics/reporting products; 3+ years of B2B SaaS application experience required
  • Familiarity with reporting, business intelligence, data analytics tools such as Looker, MixPanel, Amplitude, Tableau, CRM-platform reporting. Comfortable with SQL queries
  • Experience working with external executive-level partners or clients, including expectation setting, discovery and collaboration, and successful delivery of offerings
  • Experience working closely with successful product launches, supporting launches that include focusing on customer and company needs
  • Experience working with engineering teams and familiarity with Agile/SDLC
  • Customer first mindset - or the ability to quickly understand a specific client domain and identify the trends and opportunities in that space in addition to solving for individual customers
  • Curiosity to dig several layers deep into solutions with an eye toward continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Anticipate bottlenecks, provide support for reporting projects, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints. Get in front of stakeholders to prioritize and execute on key functionality
  • Product Management: Define business and product requirements; help cross-functional teams execute on product plans to deliver results; Function as the Product Owner of a development team to define, build, deliver and iterate on capabilities
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout SevenRooms to obtain buy-in for product initiatives and to set expectations
  • Analytics Product Ownership: Research, analyze, and interview customers and stakeholders to understand their requirements and operational needs. Research and analyze competitive offerings, Customer Support cases, and product usage patterns, translating these into feature specs or product improvements to be delivered back to customers and stakeholders. Be a data steward within the Product Team and company to champion and implement data best practices. Understand the market landscape of business intelligence specifically built for restaurants

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Hospitality and knowledge of restaurant and hotel operators preferred but not required
  • An open mind & flexibility around testing new approaches and the ability to harness failures and turn them into wins

  • Equitable compensation: Our compensation packages are based on competitive external market data. At SevenRooms, you can expect to be paid well for your contributions towards transforming the hospitality industry. Bonus Eligible: The On-Target Earnings (Base + Bonus) range for this role is $138,000-$160,000. This is the range SevenRooms in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of the posting. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed remotely in any US state. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable
