Summary

The Stellar Development Foundation is hiring a Product Manager to partner with Data and Platform engineering teams to deliver data tools and APIs for the increasingly diverse set of companies and use cases built on the Stellar network. The PM will build an understanding of stakeholder needs, act as their voice, champion new tools and standards, and advocate for products across the organization.

Requirements

• 2+ years of PM experience working on multi-user software applications
• Experience delivering API, CLI or library driven products that are well documented and provide a great experience for developers
• The ability to apply user insights and data analyses to inform product decisions
• Familiarity with modern data architectures and data movement patterns

Responsibilities

• Build an understanding of the entire breadth of data use cases on the network by working with large financial institutions, global NGOs, decentralized protocols, and small startups
• Understand diverse needs to act as stakeholders' voice and champion as we work with the community to build new tools and standards
• Build and prioritize a roadmap which accounts for the needs of this diverse group of stakeholders alongside broader organization objectives
• Be an advocate for products, roadmap, and customers they support across the org, Stellar community, and broader industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large datasets and analytics applications
• Experience working on highly available software systems
• Past contributions or work with open source software projects
• Interest in distributed systems, and blockchain infrastructure
