Summary
Join EasyPost, a YC unicorn, and become our Product Manager II. You will focus on enhancing the developer experience for our suite of shipping APIs, increasing developer productivity within our carrier engineering organization. This role involves building and executing a vision for internal and external developer experiences, performing market assessments, understanding developer personas, and translating user needs into product requirements. You will drive product development across multiple teams and define metrics to measure success. The position requires collaboration with various teams and offers the opportunity to significantly impact our developer community and business. This role is based in the United States.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs Degree
- 3+ years of related experience, masterโs degree and 1+ years of related experience, or equivalent related work experience
- Experience defining vision and strategy for a technical product
- Experience going through a full product cycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements and driving prioritization
- 3+ years of experience as a software developer or having developers as customers
- Experience working with APIs, SDKs, developer experience, and white label experiences
- A strong understanding of the developer community and a love of developer products and tools
- Experience driving impact through cross-functional leadership
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Get-stuff-done attitude, great positive energy, and thrive in a fast paced environment
Responsibilities
- Build, evangelize, and execute a shared vision & strategy for internal and external developer experiences
- Perform market assessments to keep abreast of the latest in the industry in order to benchmark and identify gaps
- Understand internal and external developer personas, discover user needs and pain points, and translate into detailed and actionable product requirements
- Drive product development with multiple teams of world-class engineers, designers, and program managers
- Identify cross-ownership with partner teams and drive cross-org product efforts
- Define and analyze metrics to measure progress towards success
