Summary
Join OffSec, a leading cybersecurity training platform, as a Product Marketing Manager! This fully remote role, based in North American time zones, focuses on managing product marketing efforts for cybersecurity products. You will develop and execute go-to-market strategies, collaborate with various teams, create compelling marketing materials, and analyze campaign effectiveness. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of product marketing experience in cybersecurity, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a proven track record of successful product launches. A product marketing certification and graduate degree are preferred. This is a full-time salaried position with no direct reports.
Requirements
- Clear communication: demonstrated ability to distill highly technical product information into clear value propositions
- Project management: Ability to manage multiple launches a month (3-4 smaller launches) and 1 big launch a quarter at the same time
- Curious nature: Review data from launches to determine pipeline and revenue opportunities
- 3+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in the cybersecurity industry; online or professional education/learning management system (LMS) experience is a big plus
- Proven record of achieving product launch, campaign and marketing program results
- Positive attitude, solid work ethic, responsiveness, and solid organization and communication skills
- Keen understanding of field sales needs, stages of the customer buying cycle, campaign metrics and analysis, and market intelligence resources
- Excellent writing skills to produce marketing and sales content, promotional messaging, website, and email copy
- Solid presentation skills and ability to present to leadership
- Ability to demonstrate leadership and creativity
- Bachelor's degree; graduate degree is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new cybersecurity products, including market research, and launch planning
- Collaborate consistently and effectively with the rest of the marketing team as well as product management, sales, and engineering teams to align on product features, development timelines, and market needs
- Create and deliver persuasive buyer and sales enablement materials, including presentations, sell sheets, case studies, and web content, that clearly communicate the value proposition and benefits of our products
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data to continuously optimize and improve strategies
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the cybersecurity market
- Manage product and marketing research studies
- Listen to Gong calls on a regular basis to communicate trends to internal teams
- Pick what you think matters most every month and test new ideas
Preferred Qualifications
Product marketing certification (i.e. Product Marketing Alliance, Pragmatic Marketing)
