Product Marketing Manager

Summary

Join Sona, a rapidly growing AI-native frontline workforce management company, as their first Product Marketing specialist. You will be responsible for simplifying complex product concepts and creating engaging marketing materials. The role involves understanding the product, customer base, and current marketing activities, and building a narrative that highlights the product's benefits for frontline businesses. As the role evolves, you will play a key role in organizing industry events and acting as the voice of the customer within the company. Requirements

• Have experience and interest in Commercial, Product and Marketing
• Ability to rapidly understand Businesses Impact: grasp business problems quickly, and can articulate them well to different audiences
• Ability to rapidly understand Product: be technically intuitive and can quickly get to grips with how software solves problems
• Ability to rapidly understand Marketing: be pithy. Your writing is engaging and you seek the simplest way to explain things

Responsibilities

• Get to grips with the current product (Scheduling, HR, Payroll, Comms), customer base (Social Care and Hospitality), and marketing activities (sales decks, events, content, webinars)
• Think about how to brand an ever-growing product in ways that make sense now and for the future
• Build a narrative that clearly articulates the way that these features help front-line businesses to succeed
• Make Sona Summits (our equivalent of Apple’s launch events) the must-attend industry event
• Act as the voice of the customer, repeatedly banging the drum of what it is we should build so that we can articulate that to a customer
• Input into sales, product, customer success
• Take what you see there and bucket it up into things worth shouting about

Preferred Qualifications

• Be a former strategy consultant, turned product manager at a start-up
• Be an ex-founder now looking for the safety of a multi-million revenue business but without losing the excitement of start-up life
• Be a Head of Product at a fast growing tech org and want to show us what good looks like
• Be an industry expert, looking to rapidly unpigeonhole
• Be a marketing veteran who wants to try their hand at product

• Salary: PMM £85,000 - £100,000 Senior PMM or Senior Manager £100,000 - £130,000
