Summary

Join Bounteous as an Integrations Engineering Manager to lead a team building and enhancing integrations on the client platform. You will lead a team, build new integration products, empathize with end-users, and partner with product and design teams. The role requires balancing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining high-quality standards. Collaboration with various teams, including Customer Success and Support Engineering, is crucial. You will also be responsible for promoting information security practices and ensuring data protection compliance.

Requirements

  • You have a significant history of building great user-facing software in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have proven experience leading technical support or escalation teams, maintaining a high bar for responsiveness and issue resolution while delivering on new product features. The ideal candidate balances the urgency of support needs with thoughtful prioritization of product enhancements
  • You have strong technical experience, and are able contribute to technical investigations through reviewing code, writing and executing queries, utilize DataDog and AWS tooling, etc
  • Experience managing and coaching 3+ direct reports for success in a fast paced environment
  • You excel at translating business needs into well-defined projects, taking a hands-on approach to solution design, implementation, and execution
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment, working effectively with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals and ensure cohesive execution
  • You have an inherent curiosity and analytic follow-through; you can’t help but ask β€œwhy?” and love using data and logic to explore potential solutions

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to build new Integration products
  • Empathize with the end-user, and partner with our product and design teams to build world-class products
  • Understand the technology in your domain, and dive deep to drive foundational improvements
  • Balance and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely and predictable delivery while maintaining a high standard of quality
  • Partner with teams such as Customer Success, Support Engineering, Partnerships, Go to Market, and Integrations Platform to build a strong working relationship and service the needs of these groups
  • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
  • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
