Summary

Join Cognigy's engineering department as a Technical Product Owner and become part of a collaborative, innovative team. You will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and maintaining product backlogs and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with product goals. Work closely with product management, software architects, and engineers to define technical requirements and translate complex concepts into actionable items. You will define and track KPIs, maintain the product backlog, drive acceptance testing, and lead agile ceremonies. This role requires strong technical skills, experience with Agile methodologies, and excellent communication abilities. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, with a focus on SaaS platforms
  • Strong understanding and experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum/ Scrumban)
  • You have a strong technical mindset and ideally some hands-on experience as a Software Engineer. This helps you understand our complex AI platform and work closely with our engineering teams
  • You enjoy analysing data and searching for the best ways to visualize information, to enable effective data-driven decision making
  • You have a highly analytical and curious intellect, as well as the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with complex problems
  • You can balance short-term priorities with long-term goals while meeting deadlines even under time pressure and improvise when roadblocks are reached
  • You are a highly motivated team player with a hands-on and โ€œnothing-is-impossibleโ€ mindset and develop solutions proactively and independently. You are a continuous learner keeping skills and knowledge sharp through ongoing education and curiosity
  • You have the ability to build excellent working relationships internally and externally with excellent communication skills in English

Responsibilities

  • Plan and launch new products and features that contribute to the global roadmap
  • Work closely with the product management team to analyse data, write detailed and actionable product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Work with software architects, tech leads and software engineers to define and document technical requirements for product features
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable requirements, ensuring alignment with engineering feasibility and architectural standards
  • Define and track KPIs to measure product success and guide future development. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments
  • Maintain a refined and evolving product backlog that drives both near term iterative optimizations and long-term innovation
  • Drive acceptance testing before feature/product launches
  • Lead and participate in agile ceremonies such as the refinement and sprint planning
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure successful product launches
  • Work together with Technical Writers to document product capabilities, project progress, and release notes

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Conversational AI or Contact Center industry is a big plus
