Summary

Join NBCUniversal's Enterprise Product Team as a Product Owner and deliver industry-leading solutions for film and TV show development, production, and post-production workflows. You will define the product vision, gather requirements, translate them into features, manage the product backlog, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires a strong understanding of the TV & Film business and experience in product management. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ year of product management experience, gathering client requirements, writing product and/or technical specifications, working with development teams, and managing product roadmaps as well as launches
  • 3+ year of experience in a role exhibiting excellent written and oral communications, effective interpersonal skills, project management, and strong formal presentation abilities
  • 3+ year of experience in the SDLC process, with a focus on scoping, planning, user story and acceptance criteria writing, rollout management, as well as identifying an MVP
  • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timelines, budget and quality standards are met

Responsibilities

  • Define and own overall product vision, strategy, and success metrics for key initiatives around our products and services
  • Gather and synthesize detailed product requirements, that align to strategic product roadmaps, for review and approval from stakeholders
  • Bridge the gap between teams and stakeholders, translating requirements into well-documented, high-value product features
  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized, refined, and maintained based on business value, technical feasibility, and stakeholder needs
  • Ensure precision and clarity by fully documenting product features in JIRA, with measurable acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate across teams and technical leaders to identify the best solutions that drive client success
  • Adapt and innovate by taking on additional responsibilities as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Film / Television, Media, Technology, or a related field
  • 2+ year of direct client engagement experience
  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • Experience with using Jira or a similar system to track and maintain feature requirements and development progress
  • Natural problem solver, who is adaptable in a fast-paced environment and is highly collaborative
