Product Owner

Summary

Join Precision Medicine Group as a Product Owner – Market Access and define goals, create a vision for development projects, and blend multiple capabilities to ensure project success. You will manage products and/or projects, gather market research and stakeholder inputs, and create product requirements. Collaborate with various teams, act as both product owner and project manager, and participate in Scrum meetings. This role requires experience in the life sciences/pharmaceutical industry, a Bachelor’s degree, and 7-10+ years of product management experience. Requirements

• Experience in the life sciences/pharmaceutical industry relating to Market Access
• Bachelor’s degree
• 7 -10 plus years of work experience in product management with progressive responsibilities
• Experience working with Scrum Agile
• Use of aha, ADO and / or Jira, and mockup/diagramming tools e.g.; Figma, Lucid Chart, Miro
• Understanding software platforms, platform-based apps, web services, APIs and UI/UX
• Excellent documentation, organizational skills, and detail orientation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to summarize complex information clearly for technical and non-technical audiences
• Direct experience in change and process management
• Product and/or project management or similar experience in establishing and training others in best practices and processes

Responsibilities

• Assume product ownership with accountability for the product development life cycle
• Direct the teams towards a common objective and document the solution(s)
• Develop requirement documentation for technology and data driven products and operational business processes
• Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process
• Function as both product and project manager to ensure milestones are met and to coordinate release planning
• Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints
• Create test plans and technical requirements for performance and business logic testing
• Develop business processes and implementation solutions for collection and management of requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
• Conduct design sessions to document feature requirements and guide stakeholders and data architects towards decisions
• Help development teams work within agile frameworks to maintain existing functionality and grow products aligned with business priorities and solving client pain points
• Coordinate meetings with Engagement, Business Intelligence and Application Teams and/or key content experts as necessary
• Prepare regular status/update documentation as well as facilitate meetings for on-going projects and solutions
• Collaborate with other Product Owner(s) to create, maintain and update roadmap documentation
• Liaise with the product team and end-users to deliver updates

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with global development team(s)
• Experience with healthcare/life sciences/pharmaceutical industry
• Professional experience in development and delivery via Agile framework using DevOps or other enterprise tool(s) involving multiple teams and iterative product releases
• Passion for development of great products and a desire to delight clients
