Product Owner

Summary

The job is for a Product Owner in the U.S., working remotely from designated states. The role involves collaborating with technical teams to determine and prioritize product development initiatives, creating and managing product backlogs, ensuring efficient delivery of products, and working closely with the Product Manager(s).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or similar in Business, Information Technology or related fields from an accredited college or university
• 5 years of Product Owner experience (preferred), Product Management, Project Management or subject matter expertise in similar products or similar/parallel industries
• At least three years of establishing priorities and achieving results through cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical teams such as Architecture, Development, Dev Ops, and Implementation Services to determine and prioritize the design, approach, and execution of product development initiatives
• Deliver products to market by owning and driving the product backlog, while liaising with the Product Manager(s), development leads and other team(s) to ensure timely delivery of features and releases
• Ensure products are created following agreed architectural design, agreed development standards, and efficient, repeatable, and scalable design approaches
• Implement, communicate, support, and nurture a superior level of subject matter knowledge throughout all relevant areas of the organization
• Support the training and understanding of the products for internal stakeholders
• Collaborate on the planning and execution of the release process to ensure a relevant, communicated, documented, trained, and supported product release
