Summary
Join SweedPos, a product-driven startup, as a remote Product Owner to help scale and optimize our all-in-one cannabis retail platform. We're reimagining cannabis retail operations with our enterprise-grade platform, combining POS, eCommerce, Marketing, Analytics, and Inventory Management. We prioritize simplicity, efficiency, and innovation, building for scalability and performance to benefit cannabis retailers. We've been in the market for 6 years, continuously growing and refining our product, focusing on customer trust and compliance. We're expanding our product function and seeking experienced Product Owners/Product Managers to join one of our core product streams. This role involves working closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to build impactful software.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager
- Strong technical understanding and ability to work closely with engineers
- Track record of working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum; Waterfall is a plus)
- Business analysis and project management capabilities
- Excellent communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate and above) — this is our primary working language across product, design, and business teams
- Leadership mindset and ownership attitude
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategy and vision
- Conduct market and customer research to gather insights and inform product development decisions
- Define and prioritize product features based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date and prioritized based on business and customer impact
- Analyze product performance and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions and continuously improve products
- Perform independent business analysis of features
- Manage the team's daily operations, including hiring, motivation, and performance management
