Summary

Join VOSKER, a North American leader in remote area surveillance, as a Product Owner. You will be responsible for the product vision and maximizing the value delivered by the development team. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define, prioritize, and refine product requirements. Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring deliverables align with the company's strategy. Manage releases, prioritize defects, identify risks, and mobilize the development team. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or any other related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager
  • Strong understanding of digital products, their lifecycle, and business challenges
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and associated tools: JIRA, Confluence
  • Good understanding of technical constraints and development processes
  • Excellent communication skills (French/English)
  • Strong ability to structure and organize team work around clear and measurable objectives
  • Adaptability in the face of uncertainty and shifting priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for defining business value in collaboration with the Product Director
  • Define technological solutions for features/projects in collaboration with the Solution Architect and the Technical PO
  • Sequence and maintain the delivery roadmap in collaboration with the team, aligning it with the product strategies of the Product Directors
  • Define product deployment strategies in collaboration with various contributors and departments
  • Prioritize, document, and structure the product strategy and backlog (epics, descriptions, success criteria)
  • Manage releases in collaboration with POs and Technical POs to optimize the delivery of products and technological solutions
  • Communicate business and technological priorities to the development team
  • Manage and prioritize the defect list, and ensure follow-up on fixes
  • Identify risks and issues, and contribute to the implementation of mitigation plans
  • Mobilize and engage the development team
  • Manage multiple stakeholders from various business sectors
  • Lead or contribute to business and/or technical explorations
