Requirements

  • A Senior-level Production Engineer with 5+ years of experience
  • Production of electro-mechanical products is preferred
  • Willing to be based at our main production facility to facilitate real-time oversight of production, and travel as required to other locations around Asia. Travel is estimated at 15-20% of your time
  • Previous experience analysing production data and utilising statistical process control methods

  • Experience with mechanical parts manufacturing (injection moulding) is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly responding to an issue in production by taking a first principles approach, developing a recommended plan of attack and putting it into action with internal team members and support staff at the CM
  • Making changes to a test system to improve gauge repeatability and reproducibility
  • Prioritising factory activities through systematic reviews of yield, statistical process control data and test system performance
  • Auditing supplier production processes to highlight and resolve areas of risk
