Summary
Join Drips as a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist and contribute to ensuring the quality of our internal proprietary system before deployment. You will execute functional tests, document test cases using TestRail, identify and communicate defects, and implement automation within testing processes. This role involves training the Production team on system enhancements and providing feedback, delivering defect reports to leadership, and maintaining a defect results dashboard. You will collaborate with the Production team to address issues and improve workflows, ensuring compliance with quality standards. The position is full-time, salaried, and remote.
Requirements
- Prior experience in quality assurance, quality control, functional testing, or product support
- Proficiency in working with TestRail or similar test management platforms
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends in defects and process inefficiencies
- Experience providing training and feedback to improve team performance
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with team members and leadership
- Comfortable working on both computer and mobile devices for testing purposes
- Excellent documentation skills βability to clearly report issues, test results, and training materials
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Execute functional tests on projects within our internal system to verify accuracy and performance
- Utilize TestRail (or similar test management platforms) to document test cases, execute automated and manual test suites, and track results
- Identify, document, and communicate defects or inconsistencies in project execution
- Implement and maintain automation within our testing processes to improve efficiency and reliability
- Provide training and feedback to ensure the Production team is up to date on system enhancements, automation tools, and best practices
- Deliver regular defect reports to leadership, summarizing findings and insights
- Maintain a dashboard of defect results to track trends, monitor improvement areas, and drive data-driven decisions
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices before projects go live
- Collaborate with the Production team to address issues and improve workflows
- Work efficiently across computer and mobile platforms to validate system performance on multiple devices
