Join Pax8, a leading cloud-based technology marketplace, as a Productivity Solution Consultant (PSC) and sell Cloud Productivity Software as a Service (SaaS) products to Managed Service Providers (MSPs). You will engage with leads, build sales pipelines, and resolve partner concerns. This is a quota-carrying sales role requiring prior SaaS sales experience and a strong understanding of Microsoft services. The position involves responding to inquiries, providing product demonstrations, closing sales, and collaborating with Partner Solutions Engineers. You will maintain sales records in Salesforce and prepare reports. Requirements
- At least three ( 3 ) year s of direct sales experience in a Sales role or equivalent, preferably in a B2B environment
- At least three ( 3 ) year s of SaaS experience
- Overall knowledge of Microsoft services including SaaS and platform as a service technology
- Overall understanding of Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP)
- Overall understanding of Microsoft O365 & M365
- Channel sales experience
- Experience using CRM systems, such as Salesforce
- Knowledge of: Cyber Security, DevOps, Windows Server, Microsoft Office 365, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Basic SaaS architecture, Networking, Open Source Technology, and Best Practices for Cloud SaaS
- Overall understanding of Pax8βs full line card
- Ability to speak to and sell Pax8βs value proposition for Cloud Productivity SaaS
- Understanding of network connectivity, the Internet, and cloud computing technology
- Track record of over-achieving quota attainment (in the top 10-20% of sales reps) in past positions
- Strong people, verbal, and writing skills
- Experience using LinkedIn to develop Partner relationships
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Responsibilities
- Responds to and qualifies incoming web and phone inquiries regarding our Cloud Productivity SaaS products
- Creatively follows up with new and existing leads in order to maintain active engagement
- Assesses Partner and customer needs, provides Cloud Productivity SaaS product demonstrations, closes sales, and places orders
- Collaborates with Partner Solutions Engineers to close deals when needed
- Builds and manages sales pipelines, forecasts sales
- Assists in resolving customer concerns by working with Service Delivery team to investigate issues
- Maintains customer sales account records in Salesforce and prepares various reports
