Professional Learning Facilitator

Requirements

• Teaching Experience (Current or previous classroom teacher experience)
• 3+ years of experience in educational environments, including teaching, instructional support, or content development
• Current MagicSchool AI Pioneer (https://www.magicschool.ai/magicschool-ai-pioneers)
• AI Certified Educator (Completed all AI Certifications available: https://www.magicschool.ai/certification-courses)

Responsibilities

• Assist in and deliver in-person and virtual MagicSchool PD sessions
• Support the development of instructional materials, including lesson plans and multimedia resources that align with educational goals
• Attend (up to) twice a month MagicSchool contractors’ meetings
• Attend MagicSchool Academy and Pioneer meeting sessions
• Apply instructional design models to create content that meets learning objectives and engages educators in meaningful learning experiences
• Adapt content for various learning formats such as videos, interactive activities, and quizzes
• Gather feedback from teachers and team members to improve instructional resources continuously
• Work alongside subject matter experts to develop accurate and user-friendly content for K-12 educators
• Help translate complex subject matter into engaging learning modules that meet educators' needs
• Assist in revising and updating existing content based on feedback and learning outcomes
• Research and curate external resources to complement platform content
• Send a PD confirmation email and calendar invite to partners
• Help maintain and organize PD presentations and travel documents
• Enter PD session information in the SFDC after each session
• Complete pre- and post in-person visit memos
• Explore and incorporate new educational technologies to enhance learning experiences
• Stay updated on trends in edtech and instructional tools to support content offerings

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in leading professional development, technical trainings, or curriculum development
• Multilingual presenters (verbally and in writing)
• Familiarity with designing content for diverse learner populations
• Advanced/expert MagicSchool user (staff and student tools)
• Advanced experience in using educational technology tools as well as online learning platforms and meeting spaces
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Strong organizational skills and impeccable communication, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with educators
• Basic understanding of instructional design principles and adult/student learning theories
