Join Sand Cherry Associates as a Program Manager, leveraging your Six Sigma expertise to drive business transformation. You will spearhead cost-saving and revenue-enhancing initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. This remote position (with some travel) requires identifying solutions, assessing risks, and deploying knowledge effectively. The role demands strong program management skills, including planning, budgeting, and stakeholder management. Success hinges on your ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, while ensuring high-quality deliverables. This is a short-term consulting engagement.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of program/project management experience specifically with business transformation, revenue enhancing and cost saving identification efforts
- Strong and successful experience as a Consultant
- Must have Six Sigma Black belt certification
- Successful track record of implementing program and project plans and monitoring progress, resource usage and quality
- Proficient in prioritizing and organizing programs while defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
- History of influencing internal and external stakeholders while developing working relationships with peers and project members
- Advanced knowledge in conducting risk assessments and developing plans to eliminate or mitigate identified risks
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance
- Effective written and communication skills with all levels of an organization
- Confident when preparing and delivering data-driven presentations at the Executive level
- Deadline-driven with the ability to resolve issues while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Smartsheet, JIRA, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook etc
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering etc
- Project management certification such as PMP
- This is a remote position with some travel required, working mostly MST & CST hours
- All qualified candidates MUST live in and be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship or C2C
Responsibilities
- Identify and plan for large cost saving and revenue enhancing opportunities
- Drive solutions through the development stages to support business cases and high-level project plans
- Ensure the integration of projects by adjusting the scope, timing and budgets based on business needs while coordinating with Project Managers to define the program plan
- Drive the program management process to deliver project scope on time and within budget with responsibilities that include directing work efforts, reviewing integrated project plans, escalating, and communicating resource needs, supervising quality reviews and managing issue resolution
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to achieve enterprise goals or enhance program strategies by partnering with senior leadership and other stakeholders within the business community
- Track key project milestones and recommend adjustments to Project Managers to complete projects on time and ensure high-quality deliverables
