Summary

Join Acacia Center for Justice as a Program Manager to support the technical compliance oversight of the Unaccompanied Children Program. The role involves managing case continuity, legal service provider recruitment, and new facilities coverage planning, among other responsibilities. Requirements

• Proven experience in managing a team, including supervision, mentoring, and onboarding staff
• A demonstrated knowledge of immigration law, child welfare, criminal and juvenile justice, or other justice areas
• Strong leadership skills to manage and guide a diverse team, and ability to distribute and manage workloads effectively

Responsibilities

• Manage case continuity team, including distributing and managing team’s workload and ensuring proper work distribution
• Lead the recruitment and hiring of new legal service providers to perform legal services work for children both in and released from ORR custody
• Work in close collaboration with the Associate Director of Technical Compliance to ensure legal service provider coverage for new ORR facilities
• Supervise and guide staff, including onboarding new team members
