Summary

Join our team as a Program Officer, Clean Energy and Circular Economy! We're looking for a passionate project manager and writer with experience supporting USAID projects. If you have a background in social sciences, environmental sciences, or international development, and are fluent in English, we want to hear from you!

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, environmental sciences, international development, or related field
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in international development, especially in home office project management, financial oversight, technical assistance, and donor compliance
  • Experience writing and editing project reports
  • USAID project support experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with one or more of the following technical areas preferred: reducing pollution, clean energy, climate change, forestry, natural resource management, economic development
  • Experience supporting proposals for US Government or other donors including multilateral development banks, other bilateral funders, and foundations
  • International work or volunteer experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with donors, local partners and host country governments
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for project support, donor and partner relations, and new business development
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Competency in Spanish language preferred; competency in a second language other than English strongly preferred
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks, and work under pressure while ensuring quality
  • Demonstrated analytical capability and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and foster a positive working environment

Responsibilities

Provide support to assigned projects in the CE2 portfolio in the areas of administration, compliance, stakeholder communication, research, report and proposal preparation, partner engagement, supporting project technical deliverables, and logistics management for travel and events

Benefits

  • Salary: $78,000 - $83,000 per year
  • 10% 403b annual contribution
