Summary

Join CALSTART's mission-driven team as a part-time intern supporting the Mass Fleet Advisor initiative and other Northeast-focused programs. Based in Massachusetts, you will engage with diverse stakeholders, coordinate outreach efforts, attend events, conduct market research, and support marketing and outreach programs. This internship requires a weekly commitment of 10-20 hours, with a maximum of 25 hours per week. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, attention to detail, and self-motivation. A minimum of 3 years of college coursework in a related field is preferred. Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in public and professional settings
  • Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Strong attention to detail and self-motivated

Responsibilities

  • Engage with a wide variety of stakeholders such as transit agencies, truck fleets, community-based organizations, workforce development associations, and colleges and universities
  • Coordinate outreach to external stakeholders by helping in scheduling, notetaking, and outreach summaries
  • Attend in-person events to represent CALSTART Northeast Programs
  • Support market/industry research to identify trends and gain insights
  • Support marketing and outreach programs including email and social media campaigns, website and content development, and stakeholder engagement opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completed at least 3 years of accredited college/university level coursework towards a degree in Marketing, Communications, Urban Planning, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability or related fields
  • Reside within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
