Programme Manager

Summary

Join NEC Software Solutions as a Programme Manager for Public Safety Professional Services and lead the successful delivery of a significant Public Safety Programme. You will manage the Programme's P&L, create and manage the Overall Programme Plan, and control all Programme activities. Reporting to the Portfolio Delivery Manager, you will play a senior role in the Leadership Team. Success will be measured by profitability and client satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills, along with experience in IT service delivery and P&L management. Requirements

• Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent with experience in IT service delivery
• Possess good general IT knowledge and experience building relationships at a senior level
• Have experience delivering to demanding P&L targets, working with multidisciplinary virtual teams, managing a wide range of key stakeholders, and managing 3rd party suppliers
• Possess the appropriate gravitas, intellect, and communication skills to persuade and influence senior leaders
• Have excellent client-facing skills and be an excellent communicator at many levels
• Be able to establish, build, and maintain positive, effective working relationships
• Maintain a positive work ethic, working collaboratively and effectively with others
• Have lived in the UK for 5 consecutive years or more
• Demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK

• Lead and deliver the Programme
• Manage the Programme's P&L
• Manage the Programme contract
• Create and manage an Overall Programme Plan
• Manage and control all activities within the Programme
• Act on behalf of the Portfolio Delivery Manager when required
