Programs and Business Operations Lead

Summary

Join Airbnb's Chief Business Officer organization as the Business & Program Operations Lead and play a pivotal role in scaling the Co-Hosting program. You will work in an iterative mode, utilizing sales methodologies and best practices to support Host Services and business priorities. Partner with cross-functional teams on various initiatives, from strategic programs to content and training development. Lead the Acquisition pillar of the Co-Host success team, focusing on bringing the right co-hosts into the marketplace across 12 countries. Use a data-driven approach to analyze market needs and develop strategies to ensure co-hosts meet host needs and drive value. This role requires a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in consulting, project management, or business operations/analytics within a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Qualified candidates will ideally have a minimum of 10-15 years of work experience, preferably with combined exposure to consulting, project management or business operations/analytics in dynamic entrepreneurial environment
• A world class written and verbal communicator with the ability to present at all levels of an organization in a succinct, clear and eloquent manner
• Has strong analytical skills and a structured approach to solving unique business problems
• A proven track record of being able to influence and rally diverse stakeholders against a common mission or goal using both qualitative and quantitative insights
• Ability to not only dive into details to drive execution but also zoom out to contextualize specific recommendations/initiatives within the broader company strategy
• Ability to multi-task by prioritizing work and coordinating required support across various functions to achieve project goals and objectives
• Impeccable organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to document processes & decisions made
• Experience implementing and scaling initiatives across globally dispersed teams
• Experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments
• Expertise with Excel, Google Docs, Salesforce CRM, and other technology solutions for driving operational execution

Responsibilities

• Analyze Co-hosting marketplace dynamics and present analysis, insights and actionable plans to Airbnb senior leadership team to drive key business decisions
• Proactively identify opportunities and perform root cause analyses that would result in material impact to the program
• Support the relevant XFN teams in delivering against expansion plans by coaching, facilitating and equipping them with the appropriate information, tools and training to achieve targets
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the field team initiatives, and make recommendations for improvements based on data-driven insights
• Garner a deep understanding of program risks and opportunities and translate them with them into solutions, improve processes, and workflows across internal teams
