Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 yearsβ experience in Progress application development
- Proficient in Progress 4GL, OpenEdge, and ABL
- Strong experience with relational databases and SQL
- Demonstrated ability to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Progress 4GL, OpenEdge, and ABL
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, build, and enhance application features
- Optimize applications for high performance, speed, and scalability
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner
- Conduct code reviews, implement best practices, and perform testing
- Prepare technical documentation and deliver user training when required
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using OpenEdge reporting tools
- Perform ETL operations to extract, transform, and load data from OpenEdge databases for reporting
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and dashboards
