Summary

Join Intersect Power, a leading clean energy company, as a Project Coordinator to support the Construction Team in a fast-paced environment. You will report to the Project Manager and collaborate with cross-functional partners in Permitting, Environmental, Legal, Engineering, and Project Finance. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple utility-scale projects simultaneously. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for reviewing permitting documents, building tracking matrices, monitoring deliverables, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. You will also coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, prepare reports, and support project closeout documentation. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Studies, Construction Management, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, document tracking, regulatory compliance, or project support within solar and/or battery storage construction
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Google Suite, and project management tools (e.g., Procore, GIS, or similar)
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret large permitting and contractual documents
  • Able to translate technical and legal information into clear task lists, timelines, and trackers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams, consultants, and external partners

Responsibilities

  • Review permitting and regulatory documents (e.g., EIRs) and extract key deliverables into structured tracking tools
  • Build and maintain matrices to track project commitments, regulatory obligations, and key dates across stakeholders
  • Monitor internal and external deliverables to ensure compliance with timelines and project requirements
  • Track owner, contractor, and third-party deliverables as outlined in development agreements, land agreements, and permitting documents
  • Read and interpret environmental, technical, and contractual documents to support project execution and compliance
  • Prepare monthly compliance reports for submittal to the AHJ
  • Manage document control processes and version tracking for key submissions and agreements
  • Complete and submit NRI paperwork and other agency-required documentation accurately and on time
  • Coordinate with consultants and internal stakeholders to track deliverables and follow-up items
  • Support Project Finance and Legal teams in compiling monthly compliance and regulatory documentation
  • Develop internal trackers and dashboards to provide visibility into document status and outstanding items
  • Coordinate across functional teams to ensure project obligations are met and communication is clear
  • Prepare summary reports and dashboards for executive and project team review
  • Attend internal and external meetings; track action items and follow through to closure
  • Support project closeout documentation, ensuring completeness and proper archival

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with environmental compliance and/or CEQA/NEPA processes is a plus
