Summary

Join our client, an American company providing industrial processing solutions, as a Project Engineer. Based in Birmingham, AL, this remote role requires relocation to the area. You will support the project management team in engineering design and execution of successful projects in the dry bulk material processing industry. Key responsibilities include performing engineering calculations, operating a Leica 360 scanner, conducting on-site audits, and using AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit for design. This position involves significant travel (40%). The ideal candidate possesses a BS in Engineering (or equivalent experience) and experience in pneumatic conveying systems, dust collection, and dry material processing.

Requirements

  • BS Engineer (open to non-degree experienced candidate)
  • Experience in pneumatic conveying systems, dust collection systems, and/or dry material processing system design and project management is required
  • Experience in 3D scans using Leica 360 scanner, leading layout and design efforts using AutoCad, Inventor, and Revit

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager as needed
  • Perform engineering calculations for equipment typically used in dry bulk material handling systems such as pneumatic conveying blowers, screw conveyors, airlocks, etc
  • Operate a Leica 360 scanner to support system and engineer design
  • Perform on-site process audits
  • Use AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit to develop plant layouts, detailed drawings, PFDโ€™s, P&IDโ€™s, and installation drawings
  • Maintain relationships with our suppliersโ€™ design engineers
  • Develop detailed deliverable packages
  • Expect to be traveling 40% of the time in a company provided vehicle
