Project Manager

Requirements

• 3+ years professional experience in IT project management roles
• 1+ years’ experience in Agile Methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a relevant field of study (Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, etc
• Software development technology background in work experience and / or training
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong soft skills for intra-team relationship building

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of coordination between cross functional teams
• Support project scoping, planning, and timeline estimation with input from cross-functional stakeholders
• Monitor and report project progress, risks, and blockers
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of PMO standards, tools, and delivery frameworks
• Mentor team members on Agile best practices and Abacus-specific workflows, reinforcing a culture of accountability and adaptability
• Take ownership of maintaining project documentation
• Provide other project management support duties as needed to program management

Preferred Qualifications

Payer industry (Medicaid) experience
